These talismens are based on some sketches I had drawn about a decade ago. My intention was to make them little pendants. I did start carving one and never finished. Ha. What else is new. To be honest, tattooing was my focus over the last 10 years. Like many of you, I’m finding myself with lots of time on my hands these days. I realize how precious time is & a part of me is grateful. I wish I could use the time to do all the projects I’ve thought of doing. Just be real productive and get things done. Unfortunately, I thrive in structure but also resist it at the same time. A dichotomy and constant struggle within. I just suck at getting things down when there’s not real pressure to. Ugh. I just can’t do it. Anyhow, I found myself struggling to do new work so I decided to do these. As much as I need these affirmations for myself, I thought maybe you would need them, too!
